Convoy S2+, rubber booted switch??

I’ve purchased two blue and one red from 3 separate vendors in the last couple months. Just picked up 2 new off eBay, one black and one grey, and they have black rubber switches, not the sweet silver metal switches on the others.

Are these stock or might someone have swapped the switches??

Old stock probably.

Only the color ones have the metal switches.

Not old stock. The metal button doesn’t come on the “plain” lights, only the fancy colors. I wish Simon would do a gray with the steel piston switch.
