Are these only custom i.e. home grown? I have never seen them for sale. Has Convoy ever has a model of this type?

Modded. Get a spacer from Kirill (kiba-ru), your triple board, triple optix, and go crazy.

Or just get a TO46R, E2L, etc.

If it weren’t for the internal threads not going farther forward in the tube, you’d be able to skip the spacer altogether and use a shorty tube, and even fit a 18500 in there.

As it is, you can only screw the pill in so far before “bottoming out” on the threads.

You can do that with a TIR lens (shorter vs the come-with reflector), but have to cut down the springs a bit for more room.

I’ve got a 3Tronics S2+ triple XP-L build that Ven got me some years back before James packed it in.

It uses the LD-2 driver and pulls 6 amps on turbo with temperature regulation, before that was a ‘cool thing.’

With the 18350/18650 tubes, it a true pocket rocket.
