Just ordered S2 with SST-20 OP reflector. Is the beam going to be very narrow?

No. It’s a small flashlight with small reflector, it will not be a thrower.

It’ll have a tighter hotspot than an S2+ with an XM-L2, but yeah, it’s still more of a general-purpose light than a thrower.

I found the hotspot to be comparable to the Sofirn SP31 V2.0 with an XP-L HI. (In case you’ve seen that light before.)

Thanks, just checked the sp31 v2.0 beam profile, not bad.

It will, but not to thrower levels. Think of an S2+, but cut down the spill by half and make it brighter.

Agreed with that flashlight and LED combo the beam won’t be that narrow. Congrats on a great flashlight!
