I hope Convoy will make Anduril an option for the new and updated flashlights. Also usb-c charger for as many as possible. Most will then probably chose Anduril.

It’s actually nice that Convoy use their own simple UI, not many of my customers like Anduril and very difficult to sell.

Anduril v2 is another story, once it’s out of its testing phase

imho : It will be great if convoy make flashlights with Anduril. Maybe even better with Anduril-2 , it seems to have a very useful & practical Simple UI , more solid than “muggle mode” of Anduril-1 , that’s from what I read on

Convoy have M21C-U’s UI with ramping mode. I don’t have M21C-U but from what I read here it’s a very good UI.

This driver is similar in function to anduril, but the code is rewritten, which is more conducive to compatibility with components.

got mine today.

The ramping UI is almost like sofirn sp70. I suspect Sofirn made the driver/firmware?

Built is robust and feels good in hand. This light definitely win win over EC03 (horrible tint and biggest regret)

I like this light alot Simon. Good work and please make drivers with same UI for M3 Smile

The ramping is smooth from 0 to 100% with one blink when reach high same with low.

In comparing with Anduril firmware , ramping from 0% to 50% is similar speed. From 50% to 100% it’s just a touch slower than Anduril.

M21C-U can access Moon mode from off by long press and double click for turbo or single click for off. Andruil is slightly better as you can access moon mode from off and can continue ramping if desire.

M21C-U firmware is very similar to sofirn sp70. I have not seen the code but the user interface is almost like sofirn sp70

In terms of throw it’s similar to Convoy L2 or L6 with smooth reflector. The led in perfectly center and simon has done great job.

Overall I really like this light way better than EC03 in terms of build, tint selection and thermal distribution. The other thing i like about this light is that it run on single battery using boost circuit to power XHP70 with ramping UI. I dont think there is a light on the market have ramping UI like this yet.

I will post some beam shoot this weekend. It’s just hard to find time with 8 months old baby.

If there will be no full-blown Anduril at all, then this new Convoy ramping UI I think is very good and sufficient for most people.
