Apparently those 1 degree lens were designed for either SFT-25R or LMP Q5 so probably one of them.

Definitely not, M21K is shorter. It’s also too small just 5mm outer diameter meanwhile new lens are 56mm.

Might collect a bit more light than the Z1 does, but I’m curious how the two will compare with the same emitter. I’d be more excited if the 1 degree tir works with an SFT-42R / F45R. I think the Thermals in a light like that one shown above will outperform the Z1.

The new light will beat the hell out of the Z1 in both output and throw.
On throw mode the Z1 only collects half of the LED’s emission, while a TIR can collect 100%. The Z1 has a 40mm lens against a 56mm TIR, which should almost double the intensity. The Z1 throws a hair under the M21A/C8, while the 56mm TIR rivals the L21B reflector.

Don’t suppose you know the general size of the host? If it’s M21H size I’ll hold off, but if it’s different I may buy one of each.

M21H uses 35mm lens, M21K - 50mm and those new lens are 56mm. That’s around L21B when it comes to size.

Huh, basically the same as the IF22A. I thought it was a 40mm but I must be getting that confused with something else.

Yup, I’m pretty sure you can use IF22A lens in the M21H.
With TIR lens inside? I doubt it, it looks different than Simon’s render of the L21C.
