Cool new light?

Check this People.Bird.Light excellent copper heat sink… reminded me one of Dale’s light

look like an excellent light to be pair with BLF DD driver

The Chinese refer to brass as copper.

phooey on you. I was just going to post this light.

I think it looks cool,it just needs a solid copper part in replacement of the brass, and it would be great. I was thinking LED4power’s 5 amp driver would do great in there.

there is a brass pill inside the brass sleeve, FYI.

People bird lights were posted before. They look like they make some very nice quality lights. I love how they actually take the time to show each component of the light so there is almost no guessing involved.

Looks like their using good quality components in the build. Kinda strange shape though. Not sure I could get past the megaphone look.

I agree. and their english is better than most.

Nice, anyone have one on the way.

Anyone noticed that the reflector had these odd, I don’t know what you call it, “curves” in there? It could only be seen when it is angled slightly, but straight on, it looks like a traditional reflector. I wonder if it improves the throw?

Looks like their calling that the ATI reflector technique “adding 300% reflection effect”.

Looks nice, but who is making up all these strange brand names?

People-Bird? Looks more like a bird feeder Smile. The style is unique but the reflector is basically the size of a C8, but the SS bezel is real nice, and has true square threading. For $46, maybe a little steep if all that so called copper is really brass, or even a cheap, poor performing copper alloy (yes brass is a copper alloy but there are probably alloys in-between). The bad thing about the smooth fluted design is that there's no fins, no mass for heat dissipation, and the wide SS bezel is kind of an overkill - looks bigger, but the reflector is smaller.

Weird looking flashlight. Probably the strangest brand name I've heard in a long time...

Looking as some of there lights they sell, some look like ripped off solarforce with zoom heads

At one point they even say pure copper.

Well… only one way to find out… so who want to volunteer to buy this light and post the review on BLF?

a few more pictures from another site.

But looking at these pictures, it looks alot like brass.

Anyone seen actual reference to something patented?
Could be “patent” is like “copper” when translated from Chinese — just means “would be cool if it were but as it isn’t it ain’t cool”?

On the other hand, their <a href=Domein Gereserveerd - Mijndomein.nl">web page does show this bang-up attachment for one of their flashlights, perhaps in commemoration of this Happy Anniversary.

I really like the bangup attachment, i wish it was available so i could try it out.

I think the flashlight body design is what they patented.
