Copper EDC light

Yeah, I don’t really carry copper lights, most of them are just around the house lights. They are nice and pretty but don’t really have any advantages over other lights to justify the extra weight in my pocket. I do carry the Reylight brass and copper. I just like them and don’t mind the weight of those. I also don’t wear any kind of duty belt. I mean I wear a belt but nothing that serious. I travel pretty light. Minimalist wallet, keyfob, knife, torch, and firearm. I have a bag will all kinds of goodies that goes everywhere with me but I don’t carry it around. It’s in the trunk if it’s needed.

I think the lightest light I carry now days is a Armytek Partner C1, the DQG might be close to it and carries a 18650 instead of the 18350 in the Armytek. I might carry a Jetbeam Jet-1 MK on occasion as well. Largest light I will carry would be a Zebralight SC600 or a D4, that’s about it. Got lots of them in between. My absolute favorite light to carry is an old Olight M18 Maverick. I put a Luxeon V2 in it, no more cold white emitters for me. Just a great simple 500lumen light.

I started with copper AAA lights about 4 years ago
built up a set of 3 with different color temperature, all high CRI which is important to me

I find I care more about the LED, than the host

even a titanium light with low CRI wont see pocket time until it gets a High CRI LED

for the OP
here is the size reference of a couple AAA lights and a 16340 light that I presently EDC, the Jetbeam RRT-01

the middle light is a favorite and I recommend it if you want AAA, its a massdrop copper tool
