Copper Sofirn SC13 Buck Driver might go into a new TS10

This is what the Original TS10 Fet+1 driver looks like on the Opple Flicker Index test:

The minimum output with that driver is 0.02 lm

Im researching the Copper SC13 Buck Driver as a preview of what to expect from the new Wurkkos TS10 that might use the Sofirn Copper SC13 Buck Driver discussed in this thread.

pics thanks to carsknivesbeer:

that is a great improvement in terms of lower Flicker Index and NoPWM, compared to the original stock Fet+1 driver in the TS10

fwiw, the spec for the Copper SC13 lowest mode w the Low CRI SFT-40 5000K LED is 2.00 lm

I dont know if the minimum output is limited by hardware or firmware. I dont know which firmware version the Copper SC13 uses, and whether it could be reflashed to have lower lows?

What level is this?
My SC13Cu SFT40 3000K flickers at level 1.
I don’t see it with eyes but my phone camera sees “stripes” even at 1/350s shutter speed.
Those stripes aren’t like zebra, I mean dark stripes aren’t black just a bit darker. I guess it means the modulation depth is much less than 100%.

it is the default startup level the light first turns on at, after closing the tailcap.

I guess I exaggerated the problem with SC13Cu’s driver.
Here how it compares to TS10v2 (both 3000K).
1/6000s speed, SC13 lvl1, TS10v2 ~lvl15.

yes, the Opple test of the Sofirn Copper SC13 Buck driver shows a modulation depth of just 7%, and the Lux Riple is just 17%
