It has a bunch of information about some countries (and I think all U.S. states) concerning COVID-19.

It tells you how badly different countries/states have been hit, and what lies ahead.

It has way more data than I could describe in a short paragraph.

I got excited until I realized 1) Canada is not in the list of countries, 2) as far as I can tell, it shows only projections (page title is “COVID-19 Projections”) and not actual data. Still cool, but…

Not 100% sure, but for example bed count numbers might be a bit off, hmm.

The uncertainties are huge, to the point that the presentations hardly contain any information.

For the past couple of days I have been trying to leave a review on amazon for a few different products and I am able to submit a review but NONE of the review pages are allowing me to post a picture (customer image). I have tried two devices different browsers everything I can think of but the “add photo” thing never comes up.

Can anyone confirm if this is true for you as well? I am wondering if they disabled that feature right now because of COVID 19 fore some reason?

This is why we are just noticing the outbreak starting in March. Prior to March, the CDC produced and sent “160,000 tests to labs across the nation — but then the manufacturing troubles were discovered, and most would be deemed unusable because they produced confusing results. Over the next three weeks, only about 200 of those tests sent to labs would be used, according to CDC statistics.”

As other countries rolled out tens of thousands of tests, the CDC's effort in the U.S. stalled for six critical weeks from mid-January until the end of February.

Testing only really began in March per CDC’s graph. We loss the most critical time period for testing, where we could have identified outbreak origins and devised strategies to curb them before they spread.

I’m wondering why there is a sharp drop in test numbers on April 7.

I do not see any option to upload pictures with the review. I have never tried to upload oictures with an Amazon review before so I cannot say when this may have changed.

I think it's because of the pandemic, but I could be wrong.

Tiny little things are pissing me off, even more than usual.

I know that I shouldn't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff, but I still do get annoyed easily.

I'm hoping that I'll feel a little better after this confession.

Just picked this info up from reddit. There are many now that say the test itself proves nothing more than someone is ill with any illness whether it be the common cold or for that manner just about everything else which is why so many are now testing false positive around the world weeks later after they have been cured.

"The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test that is currently being used is known not to work. This test, at best, tells analysts that you have some viral DNA in your cells. Which most of us do, most of the time. PCR will only tell the analyst that the viral sequence is related to a specific type of virus - such as the huge family of coronaviruses. But that's all. PCR doesn't isolate for a specific virus, such as COVID-19. It cannot tell you whether or not you have COVID-19, specifically.This is why you’re hearing that most people with COVID-19 are showing nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. That’s because most coronavirus strains are nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. The few actual novel coronavirus cases do have some worse respiratory responses, but still have a very promising recovery rate, especially for those without prior issues.So even if you don't have COVID-19, the PCR test might pick up another coronavirus in your system and give a false positive reading for COVID-19. And that’s not even getting into the other issue – viral load. PCR is useless at telling you how much virus you may have. And that’s the only question that really matters when it comes to diagnosing illness. Everyone will have a virus kicking round in their system at any time, and most will not cause illness because their quantities are too small. For a virus to sicken you, you need a lot of it, a massive amount of it. But PCR does not test viral load and therefore can’t determine if it is present in sufficient quantities to sicken you. If you feel sick and get a PCR test any random virus DNA might be identified even if they aren’t at all involved in your sickness which leads to false diagnoses. And coronaviruses are incredibly common. A large percentage of the world human population will have coronavirus DNA in them in small quantities even if they are perfectly well. Do you see where this is going yet?"

Last night on TV a guy from the CDC says the Good New is less than 60,000 dead, bad news that is only if we stay doing the same social distancing through AUGUST 31.

At least I am cognizant of these facts and am trying to give space and SHTFU as much as possible.

Just want to go back to work!

You said a mouthful, Muto. The walls get pretty close these days. My wife and I have been together for 48 years but we both are careful these days. We know that some small-change dispute can turn ugly for no good reason whatsoever.
It’s been mentioned here that the pregnancy rate will likely skyrocket from this shut-in period. I wonder about the divorce rate?

Dont be too hard on yourself…we’re all going a little crazy, its a mix of cabin fever and fear of the unknown and not being in control of a situation. Cream on top is the financial impact.

So its quite normal to have a shorter fuse than normal….but the good thing is it looks like you are at least aware of it and can see yourswlf doing it …just a matter of saying sorry to those stuck in the house with us, they’ll understand because today its you tomorrow it will be your partner who cracks the sheets….dont sweat it.
