I saw this @ Slickdeals this morning. Seems like this might be a good deal?
According to the posts they are Gen3 Eneloops.
Are the chargers that comes with these any good?
Thanks

Usually those chargers are fast chargers, which most probably would not recommend, but I see no problem with them. NiMH batteries, especially those eneloops will work ok with that charger. If you really get into it later on, you may want a better charger. Certainly the price is very good.
OK I will swing by Costco later this week and pickup a set.
Thanks for the reply.
Anyone know if costco in Canada has the same deal?
These are always a good deal.
thanks
I have several sets of the Costco Eneloops w/charger. They are a great deal, and the chargers take a relatively long time to recharge a set of 4, about 4 hours if I recall.
@Bort: Bump_4_u
@trooplewis: For now I can live with 4hrs charge time / good to know. Thanks for your input.
I've never seen eneloop in our Costcos at least in my neck of the woods.
i bought 16 for $40 last year, clearance sale i assume (free delivery too), so i’m fully loaded, but i know several people who could use some and aren’t getting any of mine
Thanks for the heads up.
I just picked up the package with 8 AA’s, 4 AAA’s and a Sanyo Charger today here at my local Costco in Orange County, Ca. Out the door it was twenty one dollars and change.
No Problem Mulie.
I was able to stop today and picked up two packages, good thing I did they only had four left.
While I was there I saw some Durabeam Ultra flashlights. Did a search here and didn’t see any information so here are some pictures.

Only Sams club around here. Costco gets all the good stuff.
My issue with these chargers is that the channels aren’t independent. The batteries charge in pairs so it’s ok for batteries used in pairs, but not so good otherwise.
Thanks for the heads up and the pictures. Those Durabeams don't look to shabby, especially as gifts to friends.
I could not find it here at my local Costco. I found this combo pack for $ 49 http://www.costco.ca/Sanyo-Eneloop-1500-Overnight-Charger-Kit-10-x-AA-and-4-x-AAA.product.100014519.html
not a bad deal, but i would probably get a bc700 and a few packs of AA eneloops on sale and it would work out to just a bit more money
they had this on for $39.99 last year which is what i got, i assumed it was a discontinued item sale but apparently it was not
Costcos in the U.S. that carry these don't have any eneloops listed online ......so it would be hard to say what inventory canadian stores actually have without going in and checking .

thats what i don’t like about costco, they have in store products you can’t see on their websites, i think the idea is anything on the website can be ordered so if its not on there you can only get it in store (but i would like to see availability, product number and price online)
