Hi guys another group buy from HKequipment. This time is the new Jetbeam RRT26 (CW only) They asked for a minimum of 10 people for this group buy. So if anyone interested please let me know and I will put down your name in the second post. I’m not sure if I should publish the price right now because of the MAP. In the meantime you guys can shoot me a PM for the GB price. They also offered us another GB for Sunwayman D40A NW (or maybe CW) but the price is not as attractive as Banggood’s GB. If somehow you guys willing to pay a little more for D40A from HKE we can start a new group buy for that. Please let me know.
*UPDATE 12/07/14 : Both group buys have been cancelled because we can’t meet the minimum target. I will ask for coupons if available and PM those who have already in the list. I will try to negotiate a better deal next time. Thanks guys for patiently waiting.
Guess what? HKE has graciously gave out a coupon with a slightly better price than the GB itself. Only RRT26 available at this time. They explained to me that they have problem regarding the inventory of D40A NW. Please PM me for the coupon of RRT26.*
Definitely consider the Sunwayman v20c, the neutral version. Was about $40 at fasttech. Magnetic control ring, but output might be a problem for some, it's around 450 lumens, some like it brighter.
Edit: this one: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004131/1551200-sunwayman-v20c-y-1-cree-xm-l-u2-480-lumen-fully
I meant to say that Nitecore was the only one using the right steppings in the control ring for a visually-linear ramp-up. If you’re going to spend the extra money and weight on the ring, you’re better off getting SRT. I might be up for an SRT5 if the price was really good.
PM sent regarding the D40A NW price. I will open a new thread if more people interested. Right now we can discuss in this thread and if interested in the RRT26 I will just put down the names in the list. It’s quite simple I guess.
I, too, am not sure about the steppings, but I see that they cite “third generation magnetic control” like on srt7 ad, so I’m thinking that they are using the same technology…
They have almost the same sequence, btw, only a minor change on the police strobe position
