Cr123 batteries rattle

What do you used to stop cr123 from rattling in 18650 body besides paper?

Paper towel. Cushionyer.

Double wrap it with clear . Or try clear packing tape .

Like LB says, just wrap them in note paper, or paper towels.

It doesn’t have to be ‘rocket science.’

I call it ..Battery Bonk ! It happens a lot when you're using a pair of cells and you bang the light against something ...2xAAA/2xAA's etc .. Even single cells in a light can suffer from BATTERY BONK.

My trick is to cut a drinking straw a little shorter than the battery / or batteries and then split the straw up the side and slide them down around the cell .After a while they stop grabbing onto the cells and just live in the host .

If the clearance is really bad I'll use a glossy junk mail card or some thicker plastic material if needed . Make sure to put something interesting in there so if someone else ever finds it they can say .."Oh that's where the title to my car went "

Thanks Boaz. Straw is a great idea.

The best straw to use is the boba drink straw.
