I’ve got an A9 (with collimator head) that is dim and has a crap UI (click once for low, click — not just press like a normal reverse clicky — again for high, then click for off). Plus, it doesn’t like longer protected batteries.
One of these days, I might gut it completely but I’m a little nervous about destroying it. Would love to hear about the experiences of other people.
I agree. I wanted to hear that someone else has opened one up and was successful with an upgrade before I started 'fixing' a perfectly good flashlight.
