I don’t understand this whole affiliate thing, does this fall under that category? I’m assuming an affiliate link or code ties the purchaser to the provider of the link and some kind of award be it monetary or otherwise is granted to the person that “got the sale”.
Is that accurate?

For buyers it should not make a difference to use an aff link or not so basically it sounds like win win.
The mayor drawback for ME (IMHO!) is off cource that people who are aff for a store cannot be trusted in their opinion of that store, competitors, product reviews and reviews of competing products.
Which by all means dies not mean they cannot provide valuable posts. And if I would need dinethibg I gladly use an aff link to help a dwlkow BLF member
Just a thought, and I agree that it can be a win-win situation, but I currently feel like any post that contains an affiliate link should have “AFF” or something similar in the title. I don’t mind the idea, but I think that full disclosure ahead of time is not something that should be optional.
I do apologize for picking this thread out of the myriad to comment on, but it just occurred to me and I thought it was as good a time as any. I can start a new thread on it or it maybe I’ll just pm sb.
Yes, but all reviews that are from given products mention that, it is like the code here.
And most of the posts with AFF lnks also offer the same product NO AFF, so that is kind of clear.
