Picked up one of these while walking through bunnings today, got it home and tried it out and I’m pretty happy with it for the price. I appears a lot brighter than 100 lumens as its about as bright as my 180 lumen 4AA lantern.
It has 3 Duracell batteries included with a plastic tab locking them out, the “beam” pattern is very smooth and doesn’t have any artifacts. The black plastic seems to be ABS and feels durable, the clear plastic feels a little fragile though. The whole thing is held together with philips head screws which would make it easily moddable if desired.
$7.50 well spent I think, I may buy a few more for family members if they have any left next time I can get there.
