Thermal resistance: unchanged (2.2°C/W)
Viewing angle: unchanged (125°)
voltage: Reduced by ~0.1V at 1 amp (2.82 - 3.15V)
Temperature coefficient of voltage has also decreased (now –1.3mV/°C vs –2mV/°C) which may mean voltage remains the same at higher power levels.
The datasheet already has order codes for 6500K 90CRI versions in U6 bins so these should hopefully be available sooner rather than later.
All in all about what we could have expected given what we’ve seen with the XP-G3. A cool white XP-L2 HI in 90 CRI and U6 binning sounds like an ideal LED for throwers.
Yea we are a big minority on here us aussies lol. I use to see a crew of kiwis always commenting now they are gone it sucks. Some times we need more people that understand our sense of humor.
