The dome is silicone.
Do you know the best way to clean it; denatured alcohol, isopropyl etc?

Seriously:
Your tongue will get it clean without damaging it.
Rinse with IPA (iso propyl alcohol).
Maybe IPA spray is enough, but when there’s dirt and particles stuck on the dome, the tongue is best.

Isopropyl, Q-tips, and a gentle hand.

The lead and rosin will not dissolve in saliva, but the dirt on the dome will.
And don’t swallow it anyways…
It’s not as if you’re gonna die from it.
I don’t like cotton tips for domes.
The real question is why are so many domes getting dirty? lol

Rosin is the main thing that needs cleaning off when I’m modding.
Do you often lick things to clean them? I don’t make a habit of it.
Normally only cutlery and the occasional plate or bowl
I use isop alcohol, 90+%, and microfiber cloths - can get them fairly cheap. The microfiber stuff does it clean - no tiny threads, filaments or anything.
Ok gents, thanks for the input. I went through the cleaning cupboard and used some denatured alcohol and cotton buds. All done now.
I decided to leave my meat mix and Tortillas in my mouth
