Crelant 7G5 often stucks in strobe-mode.

Hello!

My Crelant 7G5 often stucks in strobe-mode. I have to turn the tailcap of then to make it run normal again.

I told Hank about it and he told me to send the module (without tube and head) back. What is meant by the module? Is it the tailcap?

Thanks for your help!

Greetings

Toppel

It sure does sound like crelant needs to address alot of peoples problems, my first 7G5 is under-driven and nothing was done. I haven't used my 7G5-V2 enough to give it a chance to act up.

edit: I forgot about this it has been awhile, but when I first got my 7G5-V2 Brad asked me to take some Beamshot pictures of the two different 7G5's when I was doing so the new one 7g5-V2 kept shutting off and it wouldn't turn back on right away... I could not believe my new light was doing this.... That was the last time I had it out and I had forgotten all about it, I hate shipping things back but I'm I'm going to start playing with it just to make sure it's ok since I just ordered the new head for it.

Yep Crelant needs to get with the program. I can't recommend them to anyone here. I have had 2 and both have acted up. I won't be buying anymore Crelants I do believe.

Well Brad is correct along with everyone else.... I haven't really used my 7G5-V2 since the first night I got it. So I just pulled mine out of my curio cabinet and left it on for 5 min and guess what..... IT was stuck in STROBE!!!!!! I could not believe it. so I emailed Hank and waiting for an answer.

Well I hope Hank takes better care of you then he did with me. He’s 2 for 2 at sending me bad Crelants.
