Where’d you get the parts for the tailcap and body tube? Or did you make those threads by hand?

Oh, and in 2019 I’d like to put a request in, I mean toss an idea your way lol……. Star Wars Lightsaber inspired light, with quad leds/optics and lots of glowing bits / polished ally/chrome ! IF I win the lottery I’m sure I’d buy it off you… if not you can just make me drool for kicks!

Beautiful!! Can I have it? If not, can you share more info on the “GITD tail and bezel detail”? For the life of me, I cannot figure out how you seem to spit these out like some sort of factory assembly line.

How about putting a laser inside or a really bright coloured led? like, in a glass tube so it shines through, but not out the end. Maybe a cell, then a space (with laser shining through lengthways) then another cell, then leds etc? :sunglasses:
Must stop…….

Very nice. I was momentarily shocked, confused, when I read the subject, but then I figured oh yeah, right… last of the year.
Still about 4 and a half hours left in 2018 here. No ’light projects at hand here right now. We’re in the middle of renovating the laundry/utility room for our New Year’s end and beginning celebration. Stopped for the night now and opened a Grolsch. Next, we’ll choose between a German Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier and a Guinness before midnight strikes. The La Trappe Dubbel XX will put me to bed I’m sure.

I’m sure you had pleasant dreams :innocent:
And when you wake up: a happy new
I might be crossing a line (if so: forgive me) but it looks a bit like one of those questions like:
look carefully, which one does not belong here. Hint: for me a beer should be refreshing, in every aspect.

Ah yes. Something of a mismatch in there. Last night was, for me, something of a dirge, a lament, as well as a celebration for a new year. I have developed a creeping higher blood pressure. Dietary changes and more exercise has helped. I also have an aversion to taking pharmaceuticals if there is any way to avoid them. Alcohol does raise blood pressure. So, I am embarking on a three month period of teetotalling, zero alcohol consumption. Last night was a cleansing of the beer refrigerator. It now sits empty. Unplugged. After three months of abstinence if my BP is satisfactory then I plan to see how it goes if I have a beer or two once a week.
