Spent the last few hours filing down a 20mm xpg2 star to fit a pill.Aspheric light so no reflector to hold the star down so I used AA adhesive to fix it down.I’ve never used it before so my question is how long do I have to wait before I solder the driver leads to the star?

overnight will probably do it.
Went ahead and soldered the driver leads to star, put it all together and no light.I was a bit rough with the star/led so mabey I killed it.That or the driver wires are shorting the sides of the star?Either way, done with it for tonight. Merry X-mas everyone.Rick
