Hey all,
I was referred here from r/flashlight. What I’m looking for someone to make or modify for me is a ring light that attaches to microscopes. I work as a jeweler and film many of my projects each week for my social media channels. Unfortunately all the ring lights that I’ve come across have really low CRI and too cool color temperatures, making the jewelry being illuminated always looking washed out.
I would love to commission someone to modify one of these ring lights to have all high CRI emitters, and ideally make something where I can switch between emitters of different color temps (5200, 4500, 3000 for example), and to have a way to adjust the brightness using buttons or a dial. This would be powered by a 110-240v adapter, not batteries.
If it can’t have color temp switching, then I would want 3 separate units.
I’m not sure if this would have to be custom built or if an existing ring light can be modified.
Any and all help would be appreciated!

Attached is a photo of the ring light I’m currently using (and quite disappointed with)
