D. Q G. Tiny 18650 Question

I recently purchased a D.Q.G. Tiny 18650 from GB. The light came without a rear spring. After taking a photo and contacting GB, they sent me a new light. I just received it and guess what…this one doesn’t have a rear spring either. I have been using a small magnet on the bottom of the battery and it works fine, but I would like to get a spring and repair the light properly. Does anyone have this light and can describe what the spring looks like (a photo would be great).

Thanks,
Mike

Ahh, you just got a free light for exposing a problem that doesn’t exist. See post 6 here Review: D.Q.G. Tiny III 18650 | Candle Power Flashlight Forum

There is no spring on this light. That’s the design.

And this is why they ask for 15 photos and 3 videos when we try to show them a genuinely defective product. *sigh

Yup, No spring in the DQG Tiny’s The design has the foam donut around the tail contact, and allows for a wide range of battery lengths to be used. When you back the tail cap off, the foam donut keeps the battery from rattling in the light, and keeps it out of contact for absolutely no battery drain…

Other than this, how do you like the light?
