D3AA: Titanium version available

As per the subject: https://intl-outdoor.com/led-flashlights/emisar-d3aati-14500-edc-led-flashlight.html
(looking at the picture, actually it’s Titanium+Copper).

wallet screaming:
aaaah! on no!..
lol

it costs 2x what I paid for my aluminum D3AA… Ti is a worse conductor of heat… and the D3AA TiCu is 33 grams heavier, 52% heavier, plus the copper head makes my hands smell bad…

I dont need no stinking TiCu…

Denial is not a River in Egypt… LOL!

But if they come out with a MAO version, Resistance is Futile…

LOL

Having bought a TiTS10 at launch and then being sorely disappointed by it (for much of the same reasons you listed), I agree 100% with you. At least it was a relatively inexpensive disappointment for the relatively low price that Wurkkos charged me at the time (about 1/3 of that D3AATi). So, no Ti D3AA for me either.

But I know we have brothers and sisters of light here in BLF that will buy anything Ti, so I hope this post helps them in their titanic endeavours

I agree but is very beautiful and my D4V2 TI is the most gorgeous flashlight I have.
With SW35 and frosted optic is one of the best and beautiful flashlight in my collection.
With 18350 body is superb.
But yes I have to think to my wallet until next flashlight :grimacing::joy:

The threads will probably feel horrible too. I wouldn’t buy one for the same reasons as you, but it does look very pretty indeed.

This costs only $1 less than the Ti D4V2. Is this because the manufacturing costs for the two lights are similar despite the size differences? Or is the price similarity just a choice based on demand?

Denial … isn’t that a mountain in Alaska?

Awesome!!!

Order placed!

I prefer all copper to Ti/Cu combo, and I have all copper D4V2, D4K and alminium D3AA. So, I think I will pass this time, but it’s really tempting and I am seeing the LED & TINT section…

2 Thanks

Materialism is the essence of illusion

No way…

I think it’s probably both: cost is always a metric when figuring out a price (eg people will rarely, if at all, sell below cost), but Hank is (fortunately) a businessman and so he will surely take demand into account too,

And they say people don’t know anything about geography…

Or is it the other way around?

But anyway, in the present case at least it’s ENLIGHTENED materialism!

D4V2 Ti is now on sale, regular price is much higher. Neverthelss I exactly don’t know how this sale prices work with Hank, maybe it is Aliexpress style

feticism sound better😙
