Has anyone been able to confirm that the Powerfocus branded unit is the same as the Opus BT-C3100 that has been tested?
Also, if it is the same as the Opus, will it have the updated firmware?

i have one and just ordered another… the glow actually permeates around the filament itself, as if there is gas inside the bulb reacting to the heat… the soft glow really took me back when i first saw it, i love staring at normal incans but this was something else 
it also seems to run on 110V at reduced brightness, brighter with a 240V transformer. AC here is 50Hz and slight flicker is visible
I just ordered one of these “bulbs”, not sure why but for 4.59 it looked like a nice present for someone…
It looks a bit fragile to me so I am unsure if it will make it here in one piece…
if it comes in the proper box it’s quite well packed

the filament itself is a solid metal so i think it will last… just wonder if there is some kind of gas in the bulb
i was puzzled by it for a long time and after buying one i still can’t figure out how it works :zipper_mouth_face: possibly it’s not a real incan but glows due to a fluorescent coating
but don’t see what path the current takes, so now i think it’s a glow-discharge lamp? it may have a limited life in that case. oh well if someone figures it out please let me know…

You can choose 18650 carrier. Aluminum case increases size, weight and of couse shipping cost that’s why full kit is $35 more expensive.
