request to cancel your order. They will ignore your request for about 4 days and then tell you sorry it has shipped

Same thing here, I ordered from the USA warehouse and thought I'd have the product in less than a week, However it took them the better part of a whole week just to put it into an envelop.
MF seems to be slowing down too lately though, my last order with MF took them OVER a week just to put the item in an envelop too. Then of-course we have the transit time needed to actually reach me, which will bring the order to door step time in at over 3 weeks. The Chinese business model certainly is different than others. 
I have ordered some O-rings on aug. 12, and the status is still "order recieved".
"In Stock: ships in 2 to 4 days (5 to 8 during new year season)"...
I ordered a multimeter today at 3.52, and the guy called me internationally from HK at 4.15pm (what the!), asking me which city am I residing in because my address has no city. Well I told him there is only 1 city in this small country of mine, i actually wanted to speak to him in Cantonese but he got the idea. Case closed. He will ship out today and give me tracking number tomorrow. WOW.
Some stuff you just gotta order from Ebay, personalised service. Try finding O-rings or 10pcs of magnets, or replacement glass lenses or croc clips.

I ordered some 14500 TF flames from DX on 8/10. It was still at the "order received" yesterday. I hit the "cancel order" button not expecting a refund for a week or two. Got home last night and the refund was already in my paypal.
lol just cancelled the order..it went from packing the last 6 days to order received today..my god..
I have only purchased from KD 4 times (I think) but I've always found their shipping to be fast. Less than 2 weeks. Maybe some countries take longer.
I opened a service ticket today at DX, telling them I've placed an order a week ago and asking when it will be shipped. (it was still "pending" or "waiting for suppliers")
Their answer arrived 20 minutes later:
"Dear HAGAY,
Sorry for the trouble and inconvenience we have created for you.
The items in the order are in stock now, we gave notice to our warehouse to speed up your shipment, please allow 3-5 days to pack the items. And it would be much appreciated if you could kindly give a mark for my service.
Should you have any other problems, please feel free to contact us again.
We look forward to serving you in the near future.

[some random name]"
And the order status has changed to "Express Order Received".
I've no idea what this means, the previous orders I had with this status took very long to ship, but maybe this time will be different.

China Post's shipping is crazy. The first package from Bestinone.net took nearly 30 days. I ordered again, they shipped last Tuesday and now I have the package already. (it's Thur now)

That's about 40mins in...
I do think they have a great website and offer one of the largest selections of flashlights. I just don't like the fact that when you place an order it takes 5 to 6 days before they get around to sending it on its way. One whole day would be sufficient. Maybe 2 at tops depending on the circumstances.
3-5 is fine, lets not forget they don't have the items themselves and have to get them from the suppliers...10+ days for them to do that part though is annoying. They still then have to package and label, then start the actual shipping process.
Well I'll let you guys know when I get my order. It may be before Christmas.

My order from 8/5 was just updated to 'packaging' as well!
nope..they did the same thing with mine express order received then went into packaging for a few days then back to order received lmao..so yeah don't hold your breath

I just received an update indicating that my DX order made on 8/5 has shipped as of 9/7. I do have a couple of unusual DIY type items on this order, so that may have contributed to the delay some. I'm getting ready to start my Christmas shopping and DX has been the best source for some of the items on my 'buy' list, but I may have to start looking for another source.
