No facebook, not planning to get it for a giveaway.

Facebook giveaways should be held on facebook :weary:

You have a point, we felt that it was a exclusive deal for you guys that why. But i feel you! Appreciate your feedback! +2

Dangling $5 for use of someone’s FB account for worldwide exposure is clever, but a cheap shot, to say the least.

yep, ask people to like something for a chance to get a reward is just offer a bribe imho :expressionless:

At least put “Facebook only” in the thread title.

Phil

There will never be any Facebook for me.

-Chuck

A thread to push joining Facebook, should be labelled as such.

This is tacky.

Unless you label the posting “this ‘like’ was paid for by DealExtreme, for an offer of a chance to get $5 for posting advertising, contact them not me” or something of the sort.

Nothing wrong with being paid to advertise products, that’s capitalism in action.
Pretending it’s an honest unpaid opinion, that’s — the early years of capitalism in a new nation that hasn’t figured itself out yet.

Not that we’ve figured outselves out yet either, of course.

Point is —- when you pay someone to “like” you that’s not affection, it’s a business transaction.

If you’re not sure what this means, ask the well decorated young women and men you’ll find posing and showing skin on the corners downtown late in the evening. They will be happy to explain their terms.

I’m not going to ‘like something’ for $5 , I don’t feel like it’s the type of thing that anyone should be encouraged to do.

I don’t do Facebook and never will. haha
