BUT read all pms between I and them they are hell bent on a king a C8 even though I told th it wasn’t a good idea as the market is flooded with C8s

Maybe they’ve bought a bunch of surplus C8 bodies, can’t admit they bought obsolete host shells, so want ideas how to salvage them?

How about a 26650 cousin to the ZeusRay? Bigger head, large tube, bigger lens but still compact like the standard zoomie. Nice bright XM-L with a 3.05A Nanjg driver. Under $18 complete or and $10 host option. Brass solid pill and glass lens. Serviceable tail switch rated for the 3A load. For me, add the 16-mode 3 group driver for bike light use.
If they can improve on this model... high amps, solid pill, sliver bezel and low cost. I will order 10!
It still needs a bigger lens… but yes, that’s the idea.
How about a cheaper version of the JAX Z1? Maybe non coated lens, alumnum pill and don’t include an extension tube.
That would be great. A budget version.
