This is, in my opinion, 100x better than a UV light. The proposed UI seems good.
Now, please…PLEASE ! Consider the LED choice. I’m quite positive a vast majority of users would choose a high CRI led over a brighter, ugly, cool white LED. Another survey would prove my point, I’m quite sure.
The market is already flooded with cool white flat design lights. Be different. Take that spot in the market.
So the best contender according to suggestions from multiple members is the 5000K SFT25R.
Yes, I think it would be a good LED choice but as long as it’s SFT-25R-WG (90 CRI). Otherwise, it would be 70 CRI.
Still, I prefer a 5000k low CRI emiter than a 6500k
I agree with you , your proposal for the 90CRI sounds very appealing.
For me it would be 5700K CRI90 (SFT-25R), just like the V-Tiger Special light for BLF
Depending on the possibilities, different tints would be nice. That’s one of the brilliant things about Convoy lights, you can just order whatever LED and tint you want with almost every light.
I would maybe go for 2700/4000/5700K for those who like warm/neutral/pure white
Or, maybe also sell the light with no LED and bezel intalled o that we can put in our own ones 
I happen to have that Vtiger High CRI version and it’s indeed very nice

I think that it will be an exceptional choice for Spot light , the SFT25R with it’s 2.5mm² size is an incredible thrower which will make it perfect for a spot light while still keep low temperatures.
Regarding the Flood light option what other options do we have regarding the emitter size that can be used ? I guess that there are some wider options available since the SFT25R is a tight one .
Maybe something like the SFT42R? I’d love to hear your opinion and also opinions from more experienced users than me.
I would choose the same emitter for both lights, just so that the beam looks fine when both LEDs are lit.
It would look off if the light colors are a little bit different.
TIRs are used anyway, so the LES doesn’t matter as much as for reflectors.

Do we have any update on what you’re thinking of implementing as the Spot + Floodlight combo ?
Will you try out the SFT25R + SFT42R at 90CRI?
SFT42R is a 5050 LED will be too big to fit in. I prefer the one L4M4 mentioned dual SFT25R

I just read the latest update regarding the SFT25R emitter.
Personally that’s the one I want and I don’t mind waiting to receive it.
Can we have it as an option?
