Is it just for me or for everyone?
Some sellers’ packages consistently arrive really fast (e.g. I ordered from some seller three times in the last two months and the packages arrived within two weeks) and others just hit the 45 days PayPal deadline and packages are assumed lost.
It wasn’t like that in the past… either all packages were delayed or all were on time (usually three weeks).
And it’s like that with China, HK, Singapore, all the same.
This may be unrelated but packages from UK started taking longer to arrive here. They usually take a week to arrive, lately I’ve had one that took a month and another that still hasn’t arrived after 40 days.
Is it just the Israeli post that’s making trouble or is it something global?
Alot of my packages have been delivered to my doorstep this month without Canada Post acknowledging that it has entered Canada customs. Most tracking info still says, "14-Apr-2013, The item (RT#######HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 14-Apr-2013".
There’s a music shop in Canada (Toronto) that I get CDs from occasionally.
The packages typically take 4-6 weeks to get delivered, and I’m in eastern Pennsylvania; the box isn’t even even leaving the continent.
I get packages from China and England faster than from our neighbors in the north.
I figure it’s due to 9/11… I’ve seen comments from other folks that mail from Canada to the states has taken a lot longer since that event.
Are those from FastTech? If so, try opening a ticket with them. I think that I’ve seen where they can sometimes call the HK PO to find out what’s going on.
Oh, ok. Hopefully they can “tweak” the PO. Also, is there any possibility that they could make a 2nd shipment to bypass the 1st. Not sure if they do that sort of thing though :(…
They shipped my last order (4/14/2013) via SGPO and it will definitely arrive before those 3 (even if they leave HKPO immediately). I don't believe that they would send them again, they are sure not required to do so before the expiration of 45 days limit.
I always had excellent experience with shipping via HK PO, before this disaster it was the best/fastest shipping route until this april...
