I’m just wondering.what the difference is between the two is it just tint or is there a difference in output? I have Lightmalls C8LU3 I love them I’ve ordered a KDC8XML2U2 Kaidomain and the wait is now into the 3rs week plus but just wantes to know the what the 2.00 $ difference and if its worth the wait?
I have both. The C8 U3s from Lightmalls are nicely driven and I have one hyped-up (over 3 amps) from a member of this board in the V3 body. Tint is warmish, even a touch greenish, but the thing is still very bright. The XM-L2 U2 C8 from KD is even warmer, but very bright. Perhaps about the same as the U3, despite bin differences, being that it is all about how hard driven. The KDs are 2.9 amps. I’d hoped for more, but the potential is there to totally kill a lot of lights. I have still not received the C12 from Lightmalls and I’m hoping it is at that 4 amp range.
But prepare yourself for the warmness of these emitters compared to the whiteness of the T6 XM-L. I actually miss it!
