I only like straight wall tube diffusers . Too many materials just throw out way too much glare . I’d rather have light leak out the top because you can always stop that like you’ve done with your flower pot sitting on top . Also consider using diffusion film or a minus green filter before the light even gets into the diffuser .
Something like this in a frosted plastic is probably the best diffuser I’ve ever found

Try a small styrofoam bowl inverted on top with light shining thru the lid . Something like a shallow container they put extra sauces in at a restaurant.

Tops off of Tide laundry detergent fit the Q8 . The orange is kind of cool /// warm:)
setup:
Cutting the tops of bottles and going from the inside out the top can give you a different size option and the sloping of the bottle shape makes it easier to grab different size lights since it’s tapered . That’s kind of a pro tip

Seemed appropriate … since I realized we were both using the same Sofirn IF25A light .
