Sounds like it could be right to me. I tested a 219C 70+CRI in a trustfire A8, which has a ~440mm^2 reflector, and got 31.8Kcd at ~5.5A, which means the emitter has a luminance of ~72cd/mm^2.
I tested a domed XPL V6 1A in a EE X6, which has a ~609mm^2 reflector, and got 49Kcd at ~5.5A, which means the emitter has a luminance of ~80cd/mm^2.
Your emitters are slightly different than the ones I tested, but this shows they are not all that different in throw.
Thanks for the response! I was just a bit worried that I did something incorrectly when I reflowed the emitters onto the board which could have caused what I thought was weird performance. I expected more throw.
