Do you have a favorite antiperspirant/deodorant?

Now here’s an off-topic thread if I’ve ever seen one! :slightly_smiling_face:

For a long time, my favorite deodorant was Old Spice Pure Sport.

Then I wanted an antiperspirant deodorant combo, so I tried Old Spice Pure Sport antiperspirant deodorant.
The problem with that product is that it irritated my skin, and when I took a shower, I didn’t like how that product didn’t wash off of my armpits very well.

Now I use Degree Sport antiperspirant deodorant.

It doesn’t smell as great as my Old Spice products, but otherwise I really like it and the scent is good enough for me.
Degree Sport washes off easily, and it doesn’t irritate my skin.

(I also like how the Degree line of products dispense the antiperspirant/deodorant.
What you do is twist the bottom of the container, which is pretty cool, and I like it better than the Old Spice variation.)

I must have looked like a real weirdo going to Walmart and repeatedly smelling a bunch of antiperspirant/deodorant products trying to find the best smelling budget antiperspirant/deodorant!

Do you have a favorite antiperspirant/deodorant (of any budget)?
If you do, please specify if it’s an antiperspirant, a deodorant, or if it’s both.

I’ve recently been using Squatch. There’s a hint of childhood Japanese eraser scent in there…I know Jarritos (yes the soda company) also makes deodorant sticks for women, I kinda want to bite into the stick whenever I smell it.

Yeah, nothing.

Unno, I just don’t stank unless it’s winter and I’m bundled up in 18 layers that my underarms don’t “breathe” or air out.

Summertime, I could be sweating like a pig, and same, no stank. Sweat must rinse it right off. I might take 2 showers per day just to destickify, but even that’s rare.

No foot odor, no bad breath, no nothing. Bacteria must hate me. But I’m fine with that.

Maybe that’s why skeeters looooove me, though. Nothing to repel them.

Minimum 72h.

A bit over a year ago I switched from regular aluminum based antiperspirants to oil+baking soda+starch+perfume “natural” deodorants and couldn’t be happier.

I never used just deodorants as they never did anything for me apart from making me smell weird when I wasn’t fresh anymore…

Aluminum antiperspirants kept clogging my pores badly, ruined many a shirt and tshirt armpit and even though they did reduce sweating they didn’t help much with the smell…

The natural ones keep me smelling neutral the whole day easily, and though they don’t do much about sweating itself, somehow it doesn’t bother me as much as it did with the other two options. And no irritated skin

Speed Stik here. Been using it for a long time and i think it may be contributing to my issues, though there are none that I can identify

whatever is on sale or special when i run low.

I tell my wife to hide her chapstick, especially cherry and strawberry…it smells so good and I want to eat it.

I used Gilette gel (that dispensed the jelly through a grid) since my armpits started stinking as a teen. Then went to Degree industrial strength, then Axe, then Every Man Jack, and now back to Old Spice for years. I use clear gel still, but still use the spray on brands (Degree and this WalMart specific brand in a teal can because it’s pretty natural and doesnt use isobutane as thr propellant). I think i like Old Spice, but like those natural brands too. My deodorant lasts a long time.

I sweat from the pits, so Certain-Dri it is for me. The roll on application (apply at bedtime and on unbroken, clean, unirritated pits only) really helps reduce perspiration.

I recommend a try for any other profusive pit sweaters.

Unpleasant bitter greasy surprise LOL! Experiences as a kid have had me hating chapsticks and lipsticks ever since. Puke city, barf town…
