Do you have some suggestions for the new vapcell charger?

Absolutely. Seeing the actual voltage of the cell at rest is an important factor in assessing a cell’s over all state of health. I check resting voltage 30 to 60 minutes after charge termination. for this reason. I can’t come up with any good reason for any modern charger to not have this feature. It would seem that it could be done with a simple software change.

Maybe the chargers stop measuring at the end to avoid slowly discharging?

If still plugged into the power, I don’t see this as an issue.

The cynic in me thinks they do it so that the voltage “looks” correct. They’d get a bunch of complaints if it stopped at 4.2 then the cell went to 4.1X as a resting voltage because most people don’t understand the behaviour of Li-ion.

I think the drain is minimal. But I tend to remove cells pretty quickly when they are done charging. Both my MC3000 and the newer 8000 show actual actual resting voltage of a cell. I haven’t had any problem with draining cells much, even left overnight. Often there is a feature where the cell will start charging again if the voltage drops past a certain point.
