Um, Do you undress unwrap your batteries?

With so many rewrapped batteries out there, I wondered if the markings on the casing are deciferable? So that they can be used to identify the battery's source/type.

EDIT So it seems most batteries are female, I think mine are mostly male.

Never undressed a battery, but I do put an extra shrink sleeve on them unless they are protected. I find that the sleeves of unpotected cells are just too thin

Sometimes I apply a little clear nail polish to the bare spots but that’s as far as it goes :innocent:
