I was seriously considering getting the HS40 as I like the USB-C charging and better throw, but I couldn’t find any mentions about using it as a powerbank. Does anybody know if this is possible? I really like the idea of just bringing a spare battery for my headlamp instead of bringing a whole powerbank.

Its like all headlamps are Hthis and Hthat and Hsomethingelse…
It’s basically an updated SP40, which was one of Sofirn’s more popular headlights.
Ah, wasn’t sure if it was Convoy, ZL, Sofirn/Wurkkos, etc.
I’m almost positive it doesn’t, ie, just charging, but someone who has one should give something more definitive.
Yeah, quick goggling around doesn’t mention c-to-c, powerbank, nuttin’.

Mines got an SLM6600 battery management IC. I thought for a moment that was a buck/boost powerbank controller but then I checked the datasheet again and its not
Sofern does not list it as a feature, so probably not.
