Does anyone provide lathe work?

I was wondering if anyone on this forum provides lathe work as a service.

I’m looking to have a 2 piece longer body tube made for the HD2010. That way I can run a single 3xAA carrier with 1 piece of the body, and 2 3xAA carrier with the second piece.

Some community colleges have machine shops. Maybe you could take a class? -Edit-I am considering that option myself for a winter semester when I have more time.

You would also need a driver that is 3.6V to 9V compatible.

I’d probably wire it up to run parallel so it still is around 3.6V on nimh but longer runtimes. I think for now I’m scrapping this idea as it would probably cost a lot.
