Just curious. I mean they do kinda have a wide range of flash products to choose from don’t they?

I’m kinda envisioning that on a moonless night entire neighborhood communities come out and have flashlight yard sales or something.

I also wonder if I ever travel there if I should bring a boat-load of Mag-Lites to help cover the vacation. If it’s anything like Cuba or Japan with classic U.S. cars I may be onto sumthing. :money_mouth_face: :sunglasses:  :+1:

PS….’Course now with this tariff kerfuffle going on a 2D Mag-Lite might be impossible to price fairly @ $600 a pop. :open_mouth:

I walked a lot during nights in China cities, no need to take flash light. Pretty bright in most places.
Flashlights you can buy on street markets are cheap junk  but food on the streets is great.
Mike

Yeah well see there goes my stereotyping BS for ya. Here I was thinking Beijing must be the flashlight capital of the world.

Everyone in China has a mobile phone. Mobile phones have in built torches.

I wonder if there's a Chinese equivalent of BudgetLightForum...

Gosh. How come I didn’t think of that. Brilliant MRsDNF!

:student:

I was in Tianjin, it was dark during the day. I seen the sun twice, flying in to Bejiing and flying out. The street food was good as long as it was/had Noodles in it :+1: , but the deep fried Locust and Eel sucked. :confounded:

I had to try it…. :disappointed:

Not really.Few people know about flashlight.

Well hell they should know about em’. I prolly singlehandedly keep an entire town employed. :open_mouth:

A worrying percentage of food from street vendors in China is cooked in “gutter oil”…oil scooped from sewer. Restaurants too.
At least cheap junk flashlight don’t give you poisoning or stomach cancer

:confounded: ^
Perhaps the demise of Anthony the ‘Parts Unknown’ host, has been miscalculated.

Back to flashlights….
Similar to the government purchases helping HDS in the USA,
Miltary sales, and civilian defense fantasies have been focus, bread, and butter for Andy Wei (Sunwayman), and Altun (Mecarmy, Cooyoo, Blackwater) among many.

Urban legends.
You can’t go wrong with Chinese food  Snack from hotel minibar.

And some street food I had.

and some flashlights

Help is on the way…

China Plans to Launch an ‘Artificial Moon’ to Light Up the Night Skies

Hey sp5it……

The intestines looking snack is at least vacuum packed! Eel? Ya know for healthy preservation. And it sez 100% something. That’s gotta be encouraging.

The larvae looking snacks………ah yes, locusts as you mentioned already. Hmmmm well I was just starting to have breakfast. Now I’m not so Hungary (sp). :confounded: Does it taste like chicken?

As to the flashlights…….yeah looks like Dollar Tree stuff. :person_facepalming:

Not an urban legend unfortunately. Gutter oil is a big industry. The government try to stop it.
Food safety in China is very bad, many ingredients are fake.
