Does TR-005 also charge 14500s?

Lengthwise you're set because the charger can handle 25500 cells, which are just as long as 14500 cells.

I am now going to quote a couple of BLFers from this thread.

HKJ says in this post, "1500 mA is way to high for 16340, about half that would be much better. 1500 mA is also slightly above recommended charge current for some 18650 cells."

It sounds like 1500 mA is too high for 14500 cells.

But, torchythebatteryboy says in this post, "So far I have tried 26650 and 18650 on 4.2v, the highest current I have measured is 630mA."

I think 630 mA would be fine for 14500 cells. So the $64,000 question is:

At what current does the TR-005 charge 14500 cells?

EDIT: In this post (from a different thread), turboBB charged two different 18650 cells. The AW2600 started charging at 1.24A and the RDLST3100 started charging at about 0.51A, so it appears the brand of the cell makes a big difference.
