I’m working on finalizing the code for my DIY Driver and would like to share it to those who are interested. I have talked to a few and provided their inputs. I would like know your preference for the number of groups and modes per group.
Another one is your preference for the landing mode when switching groups.
For example on Table “Option 1” when switching group, you land on the change group mode identified by green box. i.e. Group 1 - 3% to Group 2 - 5%.
While in Option 2, it lands other than the change group mode. For example Group 1 - 3% to Group 2 - Beacon.
While testing Option 1, I find it hard to remember which Group am I. While in Option 2, it’s easier.
Any inputs/suggestions/comments?
I think option 2 would be good (I would never use group 2 but I think others will do). Will it have mode memory? If not I would prefer a group with 100% or something like 30-35% at the beginning. Often I need more brightness if I put on a flashlight.
Or maybe 35% - 3% - 100% in one group.
Buwuve. thanks for your inputs! Yes it has last mode memory. Added option 3 for now with your inputs under Group 1. Turning off at 35% after 1.25s will always turn on at 35%.
