This is a wurkkos ts23. How is this driver removed? I’m more familiar to retaining rings so this has me stumped.

Could be glued. You would need the appropriate debonder.

I’m hoping thats not the case because it sounds complicated.
why do you want to remove the driver?

It looks glued unfortunately. There appears to be some grey glue in the bottom part of your pic. When I searched I saw the same with reviews of the TS23.
Sometimes drivers are pressed into the pill and then the pill is screwed into the head, but I don’t see that with this flashlight.
In order to remove it, I would put a needle nose pliers on both sides of the driver and try to rotate it back and forth to hopefully break the bond.
Good luck!

Does that use an e switch in the tail with an extra sleeve in the battery tube? If so, could be a screw under or through the led MCPCB holding in the driver, like the TS10 and a few other similar lights.
Before you think about removing the driver, remove the MCPCB first. Sofirn/Wurkkos don’t use pills, they have an integrated shelf that is part of the head, with holes for the wires. Usually the driver is glued. Sometimes they use screws to connect ground, but are still glued. This looks to be a T-shaped driver, so be extra careful when you use something to break it out.

I saw a broken ts23 listing for a decent price. I thought the led or the driver (or both) needed to be replaced.Since there is a €27 limit where I live (Türkiye), you can’t really get this light. So I was tempted to fix it.
For anyone who doesn’t know, wurkkos sells some spare parts on their website (drivers, lenses etc.).
Thank y’all for the replies but I won’t be trying to fix it anymore.
