Drop the XM-L, go CREE Bead!

Anybody seen this? I’ve never seen an emitter like this but to be honest I am curious.
Looks almost XP-G in dimension, but cant tell for sure.

The 10 volts requirement makes it an odd duck to use

For all I know that is not a Cree product, it may use Cree chips, although probably not, but it isn’t made by Cree.

I know, it says cree in the description though :stuck_out_tongue:
I kinda wanna order one to see what the tint and whatnot is like but have too much on order already. Perhaps later…

“Out of stock”

I like to see someone try this out in a flashlight, to see how it will fare.

They look like dual bonded XP-E chips, the 1 amp forward current kinda tells me XP-E. Even if it were XP-G with all that phosphor on there I doubt it would be any brighter than an XM-L and undoubtedly use more power.
