Hi folks...I love my DRY, but this rattling has gotten on my nerves. So what does a flashaholic do, fix it. I didn't have time to set up a video, so I put together a simple photo tutorial to help make all your rattles go away.

You need a spent toilet tissue roll for the rattle-stopper. The other items are pictured.

Cut a nice straight line up the middle.

The diameter will be to large, but try and fold the cut edges over one another and place in the flashlight.
Make sure the cardboard roll is bottomed out in the flashlight and pencil a line around the very top. When complete
cut the excess cardboard off following that penciled line.

After the top excess is cut off, cut approximately 1/8"-1/4" from the original cut line from step one. This will allow
the cardboard tube to fit inside the flashlight without any overlap.

When complete, the cardboard should fit perfectly as shown in this photo.

What a completed rattle-stopper looks like and what we started with.

With a fully loaded battery carrier.

This super simple mod completely eliminates all battery carrier rattle and now my DRY is perfect with all mods, including my choice of soft vinyl anti-slip grip tape. Yes, the battery carrier still slips right in, and slips right out without any interference.
