Looking for a dual switch flashlight, or host, that will handle an XML, with flood/zoom beam pattern preferable. Mostly I would like to mod and have a play with an electronic switch flashlight. I have stumbled across a couple of candidates, I am sure their are others out here. O.K. with 26650 size too.
I have some D maglites to play with; plenty of room to add a switch. Just thinking of something that will be different.
I’m not too sure about your criteria. Can’t remember seeing any zoomers with dual switches before. And the two lights you posted aren’t zoomers either. That first one says it is, but I don’t think it is, I could be wrong though.
I got some dual switch T6 flashlight in my office. they’re new. Actually I’m worrying if they might make a good sale in market.
Any way, help see if you like them.
1 switch is for on/off+mode change, other is for zooming
I really meant Flood “OR” Zoom, so edited the Subject line of original post.
H.G. Sun that is pretty cool. Is it a prototype?, is there a sale link?, it has a servo motor in there? Looks a little too complicated for my liking, and probably too expensive.
Actually they‘re introduced last year, but just into market now.
As a wholesaler especially trading, I do worry about their price.
for wholesale, we offer USD19-24 around for 500 pcs FOB.
And this is a picture of all these new light in my office.
from left to right, the battery is 3*D,3*C,3*AA,2*18650,1*18650/3*AA,1*18650/3*AA,1*18650/3*AA
those zoomies are quite expensive. are they brighter than the ones you see nowadays? do you own a uf t20? are any of the ones you have pictured brighter than that?
so which one is the brightest, and which one throws furthest, and has the biggest flood?
i maybe interested in getting one.
your questions got me. and I’m not professional. but I don’t think the manafont claimed 1200lm is decent.
Since they are all powered by t6 led. Should judge brightness via battery type.
about flood and distance, I can only say that there is only 2 type of head: big(lens dia. 3.5cm)+small(lens Dia. 2.7cm).
those are both my favorites also. so what are these new zoomies called….automatic zoomables?
i think i want to try the 3xD one. anyone know where i can get that one?
