I have a couple of Convoy S2 lights, that I bought as hosts. One is built, the other is not. I do not have any of the S2+ version.

I see short tubes that are listed as being S2+ short tubes. Will those short S2+ tubes fit and work on an S2 head and tailcap? I’ve looked and can not find a definitive statement that it will be okay. All I find is that the heads are different,with different depth reflectors and that the tailcap end by the button are cut differently. But nothing about the tubes. To me it seems logical that the tubes are interchangable, but assumptions have proven wrong before on other subjects. Thank you all.

All tubes of S series should fit with others S lights (or you can use a S2+ head, S8 tube and S2 tail for example)

I bought a Convoy S2 3 years ago for my first modding project, and the threads aren’t compatible with the new S2+ threads.
The S2 had triangular threads, when S2+ line has square threads…
However, I don’t know about the recent S2 batches…
