Absolutely. In Canada we'll be paying closer to $17 a pack, generally. For y'all Canadian light enthusiasts, Shoppers Drug Mart generally has a sale on the Duracell-branded Eneloops once a month or so. That's where I get mine.
I think 2.50 is a little high for duraloops AA.. I like to buy them for about 1.25 of ebay 1.50 max .. if you buy 50 of them it starts to add up ..last 20 I bought I paid about 26 $ ..
pretty sure you can buy it now for 2.00$ each
AAA should be cheaper but always seem harder to find too
Wow, $1.25 each? I haven't been able to find anywhere that ships to Canada for that price. The cheapest that I can find is 8 for $23.75 ($2.97 each) here:
Considering those too are rebranded Eneloops, one would hope so.
Note however that they also resell Rayovac's Hybrids under the same "Duracell Pre-Charged" label, which are not as good. The hybrids have black tops instead of white ones.
Silly me, I went looking for "Duraloop" batteries and couldnt see them.
Then I saw it in the current Shoppers flyer listed as Duracell on sale for 9.99. The picture shows a big pack of disposables, and the small print lists all the different types of Duracells on sale, the last one being 4 X AA precharged. The shelf had no price, but the till rings it in at 9.99 for each pack. Good deal! Thanks for the tip guys!

I have lots of duraloops and am seeing Durabrids for $5.00 usd. a 4 pack and wondering exactly how much difference there is in actuality. If they are half price of the eneloop I assume they are a better deal even if they aren't as strong or last as long or perform overall as well //Price has to be factored in . Unless you just want to be a battery snob ..at that point you need to be buying the new eneloops
Well my fellow Canucks, it is once again time to head on down to your local Shoppers Drug Mart to stock up on duraloops. Sunday and Monday this week (11th & 12th) they are on sale for $6.99 (from $19.99) and if you were listening to your Uncle Fords advice, you will have your $3 off coupons in hand from P&G brand saver to get 4 duraloops for $3.99!
