At one time, the rechargeable Duracell batteries with white tops were supposed to be rebranded Eneloops. Do they still exist, and do they still have the white top?
Yes they are the same and exist. Have I come across them locally? Nope.
Target is the only store locally I’ve found that have Duraloops. Most of the Walmarts i’ve been to seem to only want to carry Rayovac brand batteries for rechargables. There was one that had Duracell NiMHs but they were not duraloops.
Yeah i think they ghave changed their packaging and are calling them staycharged instead of pre charged ...the ones I've seen have white tops ..A local flea market and ebay are still good places to buy duraloops
Rite-Aid has them for $11 near me. Target too.
Last ones I bought were from Northern Tool . . $5 for 4 AAs or AAAs with the coupon they mailed to my son’s house.
Just checked Northern Tool and they do stock them, but they are $9.99 plus shipping. You might want to inquire first to make sure they are the white-tops because you can’t tell from the pic. The black tops are NOT the same.
Walgreens, CVS and Rite-aid carry them but for around $15.99 for four. So I wait for their “buy one get one” free sale and then also give them two manufacturer coupons (Sunday newspaper coupons) to get the cost down.
I’ve seen the White tops at Toys R Us recently also.
Amazon sells gen 3 AA Eneloops, 4 for $10.50, if you buy 16 of them.
Good advice . . pretty that was the store retail price (no shipping), before coupon as well.
I don’t know if you have Shoppers Drug Mart where you are but I’ve found them there on sale pretty cheap once in a while.
You can also get normally labelled Eneloops at Costco for a good price sometimes, although you usually get stuck with a mediocre charger in the package….although on the ‘upside’ I’ve also seen them packaged with some pretty decent AA to C and D adapters.
