I see a little dust (7-8 white point) in my reflector when i turn on the light, i don’t when i turn it off, is that normal ? Can i use it normally? should i worry about that?
please help me, thank you so much !!!
Can happen, doesn’t matter for the performance. You could open it and try to blow it out, but there’s a high chance it might get worse. So just ignore it and move on.
will it get worse in the future? i did not drop the light or remove the reflector but some dust got in there, do you know why?
worse meaning if you mess with it trying to clean it you'll probably make it worse ...don't do it
“Canned air” only to try blowing out the dust, keep fingerprints off the glass, etc., only if you can get safe access to the reflector.
Never do anything ever to a reflector.
Do not touch at all. If you must remove it physically, wash your hands thoroughly, and wear nitrile gloves.
Then use canned air.
If you use canned air be sure to hold the can in the normal position, not leaned over from vertical. The propellant can come out as a liquid and leave ugly streaks on the reflector.
Firsthand knowledge!
ok, thank you so much everyone…
i just see the samething with my astrolux MF-04 and i decided to keep using the light without cleaning.
Sky Lumen (my countrymen) told me to remove the benzel and clean the reflector with canned air, but i don’t have experience, so,… i have to live with that, hope it don’t get worse
and thank you again
(sorry for my bad English)
oh, by the way
if i have to clean it, can i use this
