Bringing this one back from the dead. I just got into vaping for nicotine replacement and have been 8 days without a dip (Grizzly).
About 5 minutes after searching around for vaping supplies, I knew there would be some BLF’ers into this as well. I ended up buying a KGO 1100mah kit as well as an EGO-C VV to start out. I have a couple atomizers for dripping and some ego/kgo clearo’s which I really love. I just bought a chrome V2 Lavatube with a tank and couldn’t be happier.
It seems like vaping has caused our favorite flashlight batteries to be easier to find. There’s a vaping store in the mall 2 miles from my house in Dallas that has AW IMR’s, protected flames, chargers, etc in all various sizes and styles (some I had never heard of). The prices are pretty decent as well, especially considering the convenience.
I’ve been vaping for about 18 months now. I use RN4081 compatible gear (with cartos rather than carts) almost exclusively these days, and mix my own juice from scratch. It’s also been 18 months since I’ve had a real cigarette.
cant reccomend it highly enough been vaping for about 7 mths ….heard about it on a thread here at BLF ….stopped 30 years of chain smoking the ol roll ya own coffin nails …try’d patchs gum ect nutin worked only Vaping …I feel I owe my life to vaping an man dont I feel so much better now …I get all my vaping needs from Healthcabin and Heavengifts
I want to get into vaping…I enjoy a cigar when I drink on weekends but that’s it…I don’t want to break the bank and I don’t know what will be allowed into Canada from customs…it’s been in my mind for awhile and I can never get enough info to make a decision…
The store is DragonFly E-cigs. They are primarily an online vendor, but just opened a NICE store front (not a kiosk) in the Vitsa Ridge Mall in Lewisville (off I-35E) at exit 448. They ship online orders out of that store, so everything is in stock to check it out before you buy it and sample juices, etc….
To any BLF smokers thinking of trying ecigs, I say just do it.
After 25 years of smoking I got my first ecig 27 days ago, and haven’t touched a stinkie since.
I started with a 510T kit, and within a couple of days I was buying tanks, variable voltage mods, stainless steel drip tips, lavatubes, mmmmm shiny, shiny things….
My wallet is somewhat lighter now, but I can breath without wheezing, and my sense of smell is incredible.
Same here. I look but it gets more complicated than modding a light. I get most of my AW batteries from vamping sites, but, the vaping sites don’t seem to cater to beginners.
i would recommend a ego kit to anyone new to vaping. it is the most solid base to start with, period. you could dive in and get a mod, but you dont know if its going to work for you.
i use a prodigy v3.1 at 6v using two rcr123a lifepo4 cells, but i wont link that as its discontinued and support is not there anymore for spare parts. smoke tec dual coil 2.0 ohm cartomizers
and for juice, hangsen ry4 i use 36mg
the juice, you will need to try and try and try til you find a flavor and strength that works for you. i must have tried a hundred or so flavors before i stuck with this. it is not the best, but weighing price to flavor, it is my happy medium. you need to find a flavor that works for you, one that you can vape all day every day and be happy with it. that is the hardest part
on a side note. anyone in the US looking to get started, i have a handful of ego batteries, a charger, 4 ego style batteries (they are the totally wicked branded ones), 2 cones, and ill throw in 2 of the dual coil 2 ohm cartos to the mix to get started. all youll need is juice.
i scrapped all the paint off one battery and cone, so its silver. the other cone and 3 batteries are platinum color. they are used and im not sure how much usable life is left in any of the batteries, but as far as i know they are still all fine. i havent used them in ages though.
