I have found this site as Im getting into the flashlight bug. Unfortunately my first buy was a fenix e35 that I just recently started having problems with. I have had the light since march and its still on the first set of cr123’s. It has begun to flicker while running and the low mode does not emit light. Anyone have any ideas what the cause could be? I did try switching to a new set of batteries as well with the same result
Try tightening the retaining ring in the tailcap. I don’t have an e35, but be aware that many Fenix lights have a reverse threaded tailcap retaining ring. Good luck, and welcome to BLF!
Will check that out.
The E35 doesn’t have a removeable tailcap or a threaded retaining ring. That was a good suggestion, as it is a common problem point on many Fenix flashlights.
The E35 simply has a spring in the tail, as all of its functions are controlled by the electronic side switch. I have two E35s. One works perfectly, while the other one has a touchy side switch.
Yeah, found that out this morning. Just didnt get the chance to update on it. Contacted the manufacturer and am waiting for the distributor to get back to me.
Forgot to add that the manufacturer sent the info to the distributor not me
